An Officer and Gentlewoman, LLC Announces Location for 2019 Miss DE for America and Mrs. DE for America Pageant.
/1-29-2019 Wilmington, DE An Officer and Gentlewoman, LLC (AOAGWLLC) the Veteran-owned production company that produces the Miss DE for America and Mrs. DE America pageant has made an announcement that they will be holding the pageant for the second year at The Grand (Baby Grand Theater). The pageant will be held at 5pm on April 27, 2019. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
Once the location of the historic Aldine Theater, built in 1921, The Grand acquired the lot in 1992 to build the Edith and Alexander F. Giacco Building in 2000. Occupying the first floor is the intimate 305-seat baby grand theater. The live @ the baby grand series complements Copeland Hall with a broad diversity of emerging comedians, bands and soloists, as well as established artists.
“We are excited to have the Miss DE for America and Mrs. DE America pageant here at the Baby Grand Theater. The pageant promotes professional and community achievements of women throughout our state and we support their efforts,” states Jessica Lewis, Contracts and Rental Manager of the Grand.
Community leaders from around the state of Delaware are expected to attend the event. The production will be presented by ThomasRiley Strategies, LLC, listed on Inc. magazines top 5000 companies in America. Rick “The Voice” Bernstein, will co-host the pageant alongside Mrs. Delaware America 2017, Ivana Hamilton. The reigning queen, Kimberly Phillips, will crown her successor and she will also crown the first ever Miss DE for America.
The winners of Miss DE for America and Mrs. DE America will move on to their respective national pageants, Miss for America and Mrs. America, in August. The national pageants will be held at the Westgate Hotel in Las, Vegas.
The Miss DE for America and Mrs. DE America publicly recognize women, living in the state of Delaware, who have obtained personal, professional, and community achievements. As official preliminary pageants to Miss for America and Mrs. America, respectively, the pageants welcome women from all ethnic backgrounds to compete in a yearly pageant for the titles.
