The Southeast Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) celebrated the 50th Annual Southeast Emmy Awards on Saturday, June 15th at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead in Atlanta. The prestigious event honored outstanding achievements in television production across the Southeast region. Held in a dazzling ceremony, this milestone event highlighted the exceptional work of regional broadcasters, producers, and creative professionals. Winners were announced across variouscategories, recognizing excellence in news, entertainment, and public affairs programming.

The ceremony also included special recognition from the Atlanta City Council honoring Evelyn Mims, the current President of NATAS Southeast and the first African American woman to lead a NATAS chapter in the USA. The proclamation commended her four decades of leadership and contributions to diversity and mentorship in the television industry. This accolade highlights her unwavering commitment to advancing the television arts in the Southeast.
