12/5/2022, Atlanta, GA Recently on a crisp and beautiful night in midtown Georgia, people were dancing on the sidewalks in a Westside Provision complex. They were being entertained by the drumming group N’SANE. People in other stores poked their head out of their own boutiques and got in on the dancing. Then the musicians slowed their rhythm as a woman in a beautiful green dress, with a sash and crown on, walked up. It was Miss Georgia USA 2023, Rachel Russaw, who was greeted by flashes from photographers and videographers capturing her every move. Next, Mrs. Georgia American 2022, Jennifer Pettie, in sash and crown walked up to the band. Was this a parade?

Actually, this was the scene of the official opening of INDIEHOUSE modern fragrances, a new boutique on Howell Mill road and 2nd location opening for Owner, Carrie Hadley, renown perfumer. Her 1st store is located in Alpharetta, GA.

“The concept of a modern fragrance bar located in the heart of Atlanta is new, bold and fresh. We feel the community will enjoy what it has to offer,” states Raquel Riley Thomas, of AOAGWLLC, the Public Relations firm for INDIEHOUSE.

During the opening, customers were met and greeted by Carrie and her team as they proudly showed off what the new boutique had to offer its customers. INDIEHOUSE is an “interactive” fragrance boutique currently selling over 50 Niche Imported Perfume and Cologne brands from around the world. Each of the brands adhere to the EU/IFRA standard for clean ingredients.

The occasion brought out some of Atlanta’s notables such as Nancy Flaherty, acclaimed author, and Regional Director of Fashion Group International Atlanta. Vincent Martinez and Alex Page of FashionadoTV and local Atlanta fashionistas came out to celebrate the opening.

Then, it was time for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The red ribbon was held by Carrie with Miss Georgia and Mrs. Georgia American, by her side. As Carrie cut the ribbon, a thunderous “Hooray” from the patrons, filled the air.

“This is a night I will always remember and be grateful for. For people to come out and celebrate our team’s hard work, is incredible. I look foward to serving the community, “Carrie states.
