13-YEAR OLD MARIA RAQUEL THOMAS LAUNCHES COSMETICS COLLECTION
/5-18-2020 Washington, DC Maria Raquel Thomas, a 13-year old entreprenuer, has launched a new collection of lipgloss cosmetics. The lipgloss line is the first of a series of cosmetics she will launch.
The collection titled, D.R.I.P. is the acronym for Daring, Radiant, Independent, and Powerful, an ode to girls around the world. D.R.I.P. includes seven highly pigmented, long-wear lip glosses for girls and women of all skin tones. She started the lipgloss collection because of problems she had with her own lips.
“When I was younger, I had a problem with my lips being chapped and brittle. I took matters into my own hands. I love making products, I own a slime business, so came up with a formula to make my own lip scrubs. Next I started making lip glosses. My goal is for my lip glosses to help girls with lips problems all while looking fierce. Dust (kick rocks) to chapped lips.”
The lipgloss line, features lip gloss colors ranging from clear to gold, to reds. The line includes names such as: Diva, Fashionable, Fierce, Clearly Flexin, Goddess, Earthy and Rule-breaker. Each lipgloss retails at $9.99, with an additional limited edition collection retailing at $49. The lipgloss collection will be sold online. Fans can sign up at www.mariaraquelthomas.com to receive the lipsticks early and become eligible for exclusive giveaways.
